Instagram: Business and Creator accounts (private accounts have limited data)

Step-by-Step Connection Process
Step 1: Access the Add Account Dialog
Click the "+" button in your profile switcher (top navigation)
Or navigate to Settings and select "Add Account"
Step 2: Select Your Platform
Choose from Instagram, TikTok, or X (Twitter)
Each platform has a distinctive icon and color scheme
Click on your preferred platform card
Step 3: Enter Your Username
Enter your username without the "@" symbol
Example: For @johndoe, enter "johndoe"
The system will validate your username format automatically
Step 4: Set Display Name
Enter how you want this account to appear in NAVIRO
This defaults to your team name but can be customized
This is for internal organization only
Step 5: Complete Connection
Click "Add Account" to start the connection process
The system will begin analyzing your account data
You'll be redirected to your dashboard once complete
Important Notes
Private Accounts: Instagram private accounts provide limited data
Processing Time: Initial account analysis takes 5-15 minutes
Account Limits: Free accounts can connect up to 3 social accounts
Data Refresh: Account data updates automatically every 24 hours
Troubleshooting
"Username not found"
Verify the username is spelled correctly
Ensure the account is public (for full data access)
Try again in a few minutes if the platform is experiencing issues
"Connection failed"
Check your internet connection
Verify the account exists and is accessible
Contact support if the issue persists
"Account already connected"
This username is already connected to another NAVIRO team
Use a different account or contact support to transfer ownership
